Saudi Scientific Society for Logistics and Supply Chains

It is a Saudi non-profit association that aims to develop scientific thought in the field of logistics and supply chains, work on developing and activating it, and provide scientific advice to interested parties in the public and private sectors, in addition to facilitating the exchange of scientific production and scientific ideas between the relevant bodies and institutions inside and outside the Kingdom, and conducting research to enrich knowledge aimed at innovation and development, and conducting research and studies on topics related to logistics and supply chains according to the request of interested parties in the public and private sectors. The association also publishes the works of specialists in logistics and supply chains and holds competitions.

The University of Jeddah is the newest university in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was established in 1435 AH, corresponding to 2014 AD, with the issuance of Royal Order No. 20937, dated 6/2/1435 AH, approving the decision of the Higher Education Council taken at its (seventy-second) session, which was held on 6/4. /1434 AH to establish the University of Jeddah.
